When life seems hopeless, prayer can be the only solution to the problem. When life is great, prayer can be the only thing that keeps it that way.

Whatever religion or lack of religion you follow, there is a universal experience that prayer helps. The Catholic church has many critics and naysayers, but it does a great job of explaining the power of prayer. The awesome thing is you don’t have to believe in God for him to hear and answer you.

Jesus prayed when he was overwhelmed: In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus showed us seven ways to pray when it feels all but impossible. He prayed for God’s will to be done, for strength to endure, and for his disciples to be protected.

God help me

When we’re struggling and don’t know what to do, we can turn to God for help. James 5:16 says, “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” When we ask God for help, he will answer us. We can pray for strength, hope, and guidance, and trust that God will provide. When you don’t think God is answering your prayers, pray harder. Get others to pray for you.
