How Coffee Saved My Life (Or At Least My Sanity)

Picture this: it’s 6am and you’re stumbling out of bed, barely awake, with the weight of the day already pressing down on your shoulders. What’s the one thing that can save you from the impending doom of another long, arduous day? That’s right, folks, it’s coffee.

Now, I don’t want to sound dramatic, but coffee has literally saved my life (or at least my sanity) on more than one occasion. I mean, think about it. Without coffee, how would we survive early morning meetings, mid-afternoon slumps, and all-nighters? It’s the elixir of life, I tell you.

But let’s not forget about the comedic potential of coffee. For one, have you ever tried to make coffee before you’ve had your coffee? It’s a disaster waiting to happen. I once put the coffee filter in upside down and ended up with a pot full of hot water and coffee grounds. Needless to say, it was not a good start to my day.

And what about those fancy coffee shops with their elaborate menu items? I mean, who needs a caramel macchiato with extra foam and a drizzle of syrup? Give me a plain old cup of joe any day. And don’t even get me started on the sizes. Tall, grande, venti…why can’t we just use small, medium, and large like normal people?

But the real comedy gold comes from the effects of coffee. We all know it gives us that much-needed boost of energy, but it also has some…interesting side effects. I’m talking about the jitters, the heart palpitations, and the sudden urge to talk a mile a minute. And…
